My name is Mariza Elizondo-Rios. I was born in Torreon Coahuila, Mexico. I have been working as an ELA-S teacher for the last 18 years. I have three kids including Dewey, Siam and Tess, and I have a miniature schnauzer, Mocha. I enjoy poetry, great movies, and gardening. I love music and different languages, and I love bringing different cultures into my classroom. I love the concept of teaching children in a holistic way.
