Jennifer Washburn is currently in the position of Elementary Special Education Teacher. After growing up and working in Louisiana, and Texas, Jennifer moved to Colorado in 1999. She has been teaching in Denver Public Schools since 2001 and has a passion for working with students with disabilities and reading difficulties. Jennifer earned her Masters degree in Counseling as well as Special Education and has worked in both elementary and secondary school settings. She keeps very busy with her two teenagers, a college student and two large labradors.
