Rachel Davis has been teaching since 2012 and working for DPS since 2017. She grew up in New York where she focused her energies on becoming a ‘triple threat’ in dancing, acting, and singing. She then earned her BA in Music Education and Theatre at West Chester University in Pennsylvania and her Masters of Music in Secondary Music Education at George Mason University in Virginia. Before moving to Denver in 2017, she spent 5 years teaching elementary and middle school music and theatre in Maryland and Virginia. Singing and performing have always been a personal passion of Mrs. Davis’s and she enjoys bringing that passion to students every day. Her hobbies include: traveling, cooking & eating out, making music with her husband in their Denver-based rock band, taking care of her two cats, and raising her son who was born in February of 2021.
