Michael Berquist is ecstatic to serve as the Theatre Director at KCAA. Michael received his MA in Curriculum and instruction from the University of Denver and his BA in Theatre Arts and Communication from California Lutheran University. He studied Shakespearean Theatre and Politics in the Arts at the University of Oxford. He has performed with the Kingsmen Shakespeare Company, and the Kennedy Center in Los Angeles, as well as the Colorado Ballet. He thrives on challenging students to grow as performers and academics.
When not working with student performers, Michael enjoys hiking with his schnoodle, Stella, going to professional theatre productions, and traveling to new and exciting places.
