I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Leadership and online learning. I am proud to have served Denver Public Schools for the past 12 years. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work as a Math Fellow for three years and as a math teacher for two years. I have also enjoyed coaching boys’ soccer and girls volleyball at the middle school and high school levels; these experiences have strengthened my belief in the power of teamwork, perseverance, and mentorship.
Originally from El Paso, Texas, I am a proud parent who loves spending time outdoors hiking with my children and playing basketball with them.
My greatest passion is helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and reach their maximum potential. I look forward to continuing my work at Kunsmiller Creative Arts Academy and bringing my educational background, leadership experience, and real-world perspective into the lab and classroom.
