My name is Cedric Baca and I am the new Facility Supervisor here at Kunsmiller. I am very excited to come back to Kunsmiller- I was a 6th and 7th grader at this school in the late 90’s as a Kunsmiller Bulldog. This building was the very first time that I received a vaccination and did not cry. I was in front of my peers in the auditorium so I had to grow up. I have been with DPS for nearly five years. I started off as a part-time helper at Fairview. I was then moved to Abraham Lincoln High School as a day helper. I began my leadership career as the night time crew lead at Brown International. My first stop as a building manager was at the Acoma Campus, an Administrative building. After getting my feet wet, I knew I needed to return to a school based building and was selected as the FM of DSST Byers. It was a very great learning experience and I was successful. I lead my team to a distinguished rating on our Building Condition Assessments and kept our community safe during a Pandemic. I am eager to bring my experience, leadership and customer service to Kunsmiller. I am actively looking into putting systems in place to achieve faster response as well as more stringent time lines to complete all maintenance needs. I am always available to help our community and my team is as well. Keep the lines of communication open and we will Collaborate to make our school shine even brighter. I enjoy playing Playstation (Apex Legends, NBA 2K and Neverwinter). I love watching football (Go Broncos!!!) and the UFC. I have a Marvel obsession and have recently began to collect comics and Thor merchandise. Texas Hold’em is a game I love to play. I really enjoy being a leader and helping people.
