Modern Band is a split between an ensemble class and a general music class. Students will have the opportunity to learn acoustic guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, keyboard, piano, drums, vocals, and audio production. Students also spend time on music history, music theory, music business, analyzing music, and more. Students have the opportunity to change instruments throughout the year, perform in two concerts, and perform solos or small groups at other school events. Modern Band students split their time between ensemble playing and individual projects where they choose to be a Performer, Producer, or Ambassador.
