COVID Reporting Procedures for Positive Cases in Remote Learners

Posted December 2, 2020

Effective immediately, for cases in which a student or staff member is learning/working remotely and has NOT been in a DPS facility or participated physically in a DPS-sponsored event for at least 15 days, the reporter will be asked only to fill out a shortened version (about 12 questions) of the Infectious Disease Reporting Form. Reporters will only need to fill out the form and will not need to call the hotline to report the COVID case.

After completing the form, no further action is required. The number of remote-only cases for the district and by school will remain available on our DPS COVID Case Dashboard, which is now updated at 9 a.m. each weekday.
