Hello KCAA Secondary Community! We are getting closer to the new school year and are so excited to reconnect with you all!
Students: please check your .net emails and reply to your teachers’ outreach.
Parents: please make sure your contact information is updated in IC, Parent Portal, and/or with the school.
Teachers of your 6-12 students’ advisory period (new this year!) will begin reaching out to all their advisees starting Monday August 17th.
Starting Wednesday August 19th, 6-12 teachers will reach out to the students in their academic & arts classes to establish expectations about online learning and how to access Schoology, our new online platforms.
Finally, we will ask all secondary students to join us on Friday August 21st for grade-level assemblies (links will be sent by teachers during contact with students, and will be on our website Thursday 8/20).
All K-12 remote classes begin on Monday 8/24.
This is the start to a school year unlike any we have seen, but we are going to make this time engaging, fun, and successful for all!
